Beavers look to playoffs.

Well into August the Beavers look to maintain at least a 10 game lead on div rival Boston.  Even with losing Paradis for the season, Pittman for 5 weeks and now Mesa for 5 weeks, Beavers management look optimistic for the rest of the season.

"When Paradis went down we knew we had to get another stellar arm to compliment our great staff.  Julio Lopez was the right price for us, not to mention bolstering our bullpen at the trade deadline. We also added some great arms in the bullpen in Jesus Hernandezs and Arthur Smeeth to give our horses some backing in the bullpen. " Owner Aaron Blank releases in a press release from the local casino

The Beavers are having a great year especially in the hitting department, not usually seeing such high avg's, especially at the Beaver Dam, rookie Charlie Murdock is easily the best hitter for the Beavers with over 20 HR's and 100 RBI's/ With the new manager this year also came a new philosophy, create movement on the basepaths, leading the NL in SB's and Damien Yates leading the NL with 51 himself, the Beavers find themselves having fun playing the game of baseball.

As always the Beavers have some stellar pitching this year, with Ace Allan Landry staying solid as ever, an unexpectedly awesome year from J-Rod with a 1.88 ERA, Jules Paradis was stellar until his injury who has been replaced by Julio Lopez, Harvey Phillips picking up his slack, and CarGo had a great start, but hit quite a cold snap in recent weeks.  CarGo recently replaced by eager Beaver himself Bobby Dunlap who has done everything he has been called to do, pitch and pitch well. With Dunlap doing so well, CarGo has been moved to the bullpen to aid in eating some innings up.  The Beavers are ready to roll on...
