April Sours bring May Powers??

April was a horrendous month for the Beavers going 13-15.  With noone really stepping up to lead this team into May.  Here's to hoping May can bring these guys together.

So far into May the team is 8-6 bringing the total team record to an even .500 at 21-21.  Staff leader Jimmy Sanders is heading the staff with a 2.83 ERA and a 4-3 W-L record.  J-Rod hasn't been his 2013 self, but he has been solid with a 3.75 and 3-2 W-L record.  The pen is solid, headed by Lloyd MacBride, who was in trade discussions earlier this season, but has since become a staple in the pen with a 0.87 ERA in 20.2 IP.  Now to the shit-head of the pitching staff.  Nick Reed, who was brought in to be an anchor at the #5 hole in the rotation has been terrible, going 0-5 with a 6.02 ERA, will be sent down to AAA to gain some sort of form back.  Lloyd MacBride will be taking the spot in the roto for a 2 starts at least.

As for the bats, they are starting to heat back up, Danny Kelly up to a .254 AVG with 5 HR, hot as hell Charlie Murdock has been a RBI machine, hitting .333 with 12 HR and 30 RBI.  Zach Hutchinson has been close behind with a .273 AVG, 7 HR and 28 RBI.

The minors have also been a hugh spot for the Baffin organization with AAA Waba Ducks at 23-13 so far and AA Balzac at an astounding 29-8.
